She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Vazquez and Antonia Borges-Vega; her husband Juan Lopez; and her brother Tony Heagy (Eleanor). She is survived by: her significant other Angel Medina; her children, Roger Colon (Kelly) and Kristi Colon of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Josh Gavin, Zach Colon, Nicky Colon, Arianna Colon and Kai Colon Johnson; her stepchildren, J. M. Lopez, Ernesto Lopez and Abraham Medina Brucelaz; and her siblings, Judith Ramos (Juan), Enid Vazquez-Pereira (Angel) and Terry Heagy (Tina). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory (2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Burial service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10 AM, Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. contributions in Raquel's name may be made to New Creation UMC, 10 W. Farnum Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.
