He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Benn and Ruth Benn (Hall); and his siblings, David Benn, Carol Boutillier and Sally Buckley.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Ezrati; his sons, Daryll Benn (Diane) of Lancaster, PA and Randy Benn (Liza) of Aldie, VA; his grandchildren, Olivia, Mitchell, Nicholas, Jason and Ryan; his brother Clark Benn of Maryland; his nieces, Cheryl Lewis and Angela Benn-Staniszewski; and his nephew Danny Boutillier.
