He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Martinez Nieves and Adelaida Rivera Torres; his children, Jennifer Martinez, Melissa Martinez (Jermahl Ranson), Misael Martinez and Mia Martinez; and his stepdaughter Nyasia Roman. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, four sisters, three adopted sisters, six brothers, and an adopted brother.
