He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor A. Maurer and Henrietta Maurer (Jarrett); and his wife Virginia L. Maurer (Geltmacher). He is survived by: his children, Nichole M. Maurer of Philadelphia, Eric D. Maurer of Lancaster and Jordana B. Maurer (Anthony Spinello) of Lancaster; his grandson Anthony Maurer; his great grandchildren, Anthony Maurer Jr. and Zoey Maurer; and his sister Judith A. Scanlin (Donald) of Elizabethtown.
