He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Jones (Coleman) and Richard Jones; and his siblings, Elizabeth (Betty), Bob Shipman, Beverly Jones, Richard Jones Jr., Colleen Jones, Saundra (Jones), Donald Hessert and Deborah Buchen (Deb).

He is survived by: his wife Vera Jones (Lefever); and his children, Amy (Hess), Pete Wittmaier, Jonathan, Trina Hess, Joshua, Andrea Jones, Emily (Jones) and Christopher Guido. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
