He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Burkholder and Lena Burkholder (Rutt); and his siblings, Levi, Leroy Burkholder, Alta Sensenig, Edith Nolt, Ida Garman and Earla Martin.
He is survived by: his brothers, Clair, Willis and Carl Burkholder; and his siblings-in-law, John Garman, Earl Martin and Alma Burkholder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
