He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Bonilla Rivera and Iluminada Romero Santiago; his granddaughter Paola; and his siblings, Rosalina Bonilla Romero and Rafael Bonilla Romero.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Pena; his son Jorge Isvan Bonilla; his close friends, Janssee of York and Jorge Luise Bonilla (Ivonnee) of Lancaster; his daughters, Brenda Liz Bonilla (Francisco) of Virginia and Marangellys Bonilla (Jose) of Ponce; his stepdaughter Genesis Tirado of New York; and his siblings, Felipe, Jose Antonio, Miguel Angel Bonilla Romero and Gladys Bonilla Romero of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
