With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Brown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Kirby and Mary Elizabeth Brown (Burke). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia (Mowrer); his daughters, Sarah A. Brown of Lancaster and Kathryn M. Brown of Lancaster; his brothers, Kirby Brown (Virginia) and Peter Brown; his uncle Peter Brown; his father-in-law Ronald Mowrer of Lancaster; his sister-in-law Cheryl Ward of Erie; his nephew Alec; and his niece Audrey Ward.
