She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Scheafnocker and Alice Scheafnocker (Carrier); her husband Newell M. Eckman; and her sister Shirley Ruth Scheafnocker. She is survived by: her daughters, Rev. Mary E. Gestrich, Barbara L. Eckman and Susan K. Wilkins; her grandsons, Dr. Andrew M. Gestrich (Tara) and Alexander N. Wilkins; her great grandchildren, Cooper and Logan Gestrich; her brother-in-law Richard Eckman; and her cousin George Haines (Joyce). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
