He was predeceased by: his parents, John Biese and Lucille Bucci Biese. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Scherer Lawrence; his sons, Christopher (Gena) of Temecula, CA, Jason (Kimberly) of Ellsworth, ME and Matthew (Meredith) of Herndon, VA; his grandchildren, Hannah, Matilda, Chase, Madelyn, Charlotte and Miranda; and his siblings, John (Patricia Biese) and Josephine Dick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in his memory to Hospice & Community Care or to the American Cancer Society.
