He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Rosenthal and Arlene Rosenthal (Pinkerton); his son Brian James Rosenthal; and his brother Larry Rosenthal. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Rosenthal; and his pet Miles.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
