She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejandro Hernandez and Inocencia Rojas; and her stepmother Ramonita Hernandez. She is survived by: her spouse Wilfredo Perez Gerena; and her children, Luis R. Ortega (Miriam), Wilfredo Perez (Teresa), Ray Perez and Sonia Mendez (John). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 siblings; and many nieces & nephews.
