He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Ralph; and his brothers, Nicholas and Peters. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Burkholder (Forrey); his stepchildren, Steven Gainer (Sally) of Ronks and Jennifer Wilhelm (Ralph); his grandsons, Johnny and David Gainer; and his great grandchildren, Mia and Leela Wilhelm. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
