He was predeceased by: his wife Betty J. Shenk Landis; his parents, Benjamin L. Landis and Ella Mae Snavely Landis; his children, Debra Landis and Delbert Landis; and his siblings, Benjamin Landis, Aaron Landis, Ira Landis and Anna Elizabeth Harnish.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Landis (Deb), Douglas Landis, Dean Landis (Cindy), Darryl Landis and Doreen Landis (Chrissy); and his siblings, Paul Landis, Mary Hershey, Miriam Good and Joyce Eby. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
