It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold J. Weglarz of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harold shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harold farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Weglarz and Rose Weglarz (Kurtz); and his sister Barbara A. Balchunas. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. Weglarz; his stepchildren, Jennifer L. Kreider (Jeffrey R.) of Dover, PA, Jeffrey S. Nelsen (Julie M.) of Myerstown, PA and Jeremy L. Nelsen (Lisa R.) of Elizabethtown, PA; and his niece Cathleen M. Baverline (Steven D.) of McSherrystown, PA. He is also survived by 9 stepgrandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or Lancaster Pet Pantry.
