He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Adams and George A. Adams. He is survived by: his wife Martha K. Adams; his children, Beth Swope and Scott Adams; his grandchildren, Rachel, Ashley, Jason Swope, Kalah Hobson and Jake Adams; and his great grandchild Wesley Hobson.

Contributions can be made in his memory to First United Methodist Church where he was a long-time member.
