He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel R. Gross and Rose M. Gross (Ciccone); and his son Robert Gross. He is survived by: his wife Helen (Hilbert); his children, Dolores Henry (Steven), Raymond Gross (Lisa), Kathryn Glessner (Joseph) of Middletown, PA and Julie Gross of Berwick, PA.; his grandchildren, Erin, Danielle, Shannon (Matthew), Matthew, Tyler (Miranda), Margaret (Carter), Bridget, Brooke, Anthony and Chase; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Hudson and Jace; his sister Rosalie Gross; and his daughter-in-law Viriginia Gross of Lancaster.
