Dwight S. Shimp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dwight S. Shimp of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence K. Shimp and Helen M. Shimp (Eshelman); his sister Joan Eshleman; and his brother-in-law Larry Eshleman. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen E. Shimp (Lemon); his daughter Michelle L. Troop (John M. Troop); his grandsons, Gavin and Owen Troop; and his nieces, Jaenell Distrious (Steve), Lori Sulfare (Jim) and Gable.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's E. C. Church (46 E Church St, Stevens, PA 17567). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's E. C. Church (46 E Church St, Stevens, PA 17567).
