Beatty of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen "Mame" Beatty; his parents, Arthur W. Beatty and Catherine Hannon Beatty; and his siblings, Katherine Outlaw Wilson, William Beatty, Pauline Tully, Margaret Leeper, Mary Clare, James Beatty, Richard Beatty and George Hannon.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Philip R. Loht (Betty), Walter P. Loht (Elizabeth), Barbara Whiteman of Havelock, NC, Jean E. Rutter and Karen Rubincam; his nieces, Pattie Clare Troutman (Paul) and Barb; and his nephew Jim Beatty.
