She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luther P. Herr and Alberta M. Herr; her husband John M. Byers; her children, Michael Byers, Connie Good (John Sest) and Michelle Giacobbi; her granddaughter Nicole Byers-Kauffman (Philip Kauffman); and her great grandchild Michael J. E. Kauffman. She was also cherished by her family and animals.
She attended many gospel concerts and as her Parkinson's progressed, she often relaxed in her chair listening to gospel music, reading, bird watching or working on her computer sending emails to family and friends.
