He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond O. Edgecombe and Sally Edgecombe Malloy; his sister Judith Anderson of Old Saybrook; his wife Shirley K. Edgecombe of Leola; and his sons, Rick Edgecombe (Stephanie) and Brian Edgecombe (Clarice). He was also cherished by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
