He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rev. Leonard W., Janet Christian, James and Dorothy Ellis. He is survived by: his parents, Yolonda Christian and James L. Ellis, Jr.; his fiancée Eunice Rosario; his children, Juliana J. Ellis of Mountville, Jordan A. Rivera, Dante C. Ellis, Jr. of Lancaster and Nazir D. Ellis of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Sanai, Gianni and Milano; his sister Jami L. Ellis of Lititz; and his nieces, Mia J. and Kayla M. Godwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma or American Diabetes Association.
