He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Leroy Herbster and Thelma Herbster (Brogan); and his brother W. Donald Herbster. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his brother H. Larry Herbster; his daughters, Kimberly Shank (Daniel) and Karen Rieker (Jason); and his granddaughters, Abbie and Alaina Shank.
