She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wilson and Frances Wilson; and her brother Rowan Scott Wilson. She is survived by: her husband John Carmichael (Jack); her daughters, Elizabeth Strong (John) and Kimberly Thornbury (Kent Oldenburger); and her grandchildren, Martha Scott Burton, Schyler Strong, William Stewart Burton, Elizabeth Campbell Burton, Katherine Elizabeth Thornbury and Carolyn Taylor Thornbury.
