She was predeceased by: her parents, Renwick Glen and Mildred Burdette Adams; and her sister Patricia Piper. She is survived by: her husband Fred H. Pargeon; her sons, Jeffrey A. Pargeon of Philadelphia, Steven C. Pargeon of Pottstown and Douglas H. Pargeon (Rita) of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Sara, Emma, Benjamin and Maxwell; and her brother Robert G. Adams of Medina, OH..

As storyteller and support aide in the Children's Department for many years, we became dear friends. What a giving and loving person she was. Her love and knowledge of preschoolers helped me to provide better service. I grieve her loss but know that I will see her someday in Heaven. May God bless you and comfort you now.
