He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Gilbert and Jean Lillian Nelson Gilbert; and his brother Jules A. Gilbert. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Gilbert Gillin (Stephen) and Kelly Gilbert Moreau (Matthew); his grandchildren, Riley Gillin, Patrick Gillin, Teddy Gillin, Henry Moreau and Lilly Moreau; and the mother of his children Sally A. Shoals.
