He is survived by: his children, Rose Marie Short of Florida, Larry Short of Florida, Terry Short (Barbara) of Florida and Andrew Michael Short (Jessica) of Lancaster; and his siblings, Ruth Mae Short, Marilyn Short, Luevenia Short, Patricia Short, Leroy Short Jr., Richard Short Sr., James Marty Short, Clarence Short and Hercules Short. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
