He was predeceased by: his parents, George B., Sr. and Margaret Hippey Sweigart; his wife Janet Drennen Sweigart; and his brother Jay C. Sweigart. He is survived by: his children, Donald E. Sweigart of Willow Street and Margaret S. (Brett Fassnacht) of Lancaster; his grandsons, Zachary (Tiffany Sweigart) and Donald Sweigart, Jr. (DJ); his great grandchild Colton Sweigart; and his sisters, Wanda (Keith Wagner) of Quarryville and Philomena (Steve Behmer) of Millersville.
