It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Pierce (Lake Winola, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Watkin Pierce; her parents, Sanford Vanderveken and Helen Hensley Vanderveken; and her sisters, Janet Kerner and Christine London.
She is survived by: her children, William Pierce (Dalton), Timothy Pierce (Dalton), Joseph Pierce, Eric Pierce and Rose Nelson; and her siblings, Robert of Lake Winola, Sanford Jr. Vanderveken of Lake Winola and Joan Watkins of Watertown, N. Y.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
