It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley George of Lake City, Pennsylvania, born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Smyth and Eva M. Smyth; her husband Robert A. George; her grandparents, Charles, Mary Smyth and Ruby Wolcott; her sister-in-law Brenda Ruth; and her nephew Scott Ruth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lyne M. Daniels, Leigh Senger (Mike) and Loretta Cummings (Dave); her grandchildren, Alecia (Trevor), Carley (Dylan), Ashlee and Nicholas (Katie); her great grandchildren, Tristan, Landon, Evan and Henry; her sister Charlene Heidorn; her brother-in-law Fred Ruth; her nieces, Deb, Tina, Rhonda, Heather and Anne; and her nephew Brad Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lake City Volunteer Fire Company, Platea Volunteer Fire Company, or Edinboro Volunteer Fire Company.
