It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Meeder of Lake City, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallam J. Meeder and Viola Meeder (Mallory); his former wife Dorothy Meeder (Olesnanik); and his brother Richard Meeder. He is survived by: his wife Virginia G. Getz Meeder (Davis); his daughter Nancy Straw (Greg) of Lake City; his stepdaughter Kathleen Gill (David) of Girard; his sons, William Meeder (Jim) of San Francisco, CA. and Daniel Meeder (Angela) of Fairview; his stepson Michael Getz (Dannetta) of Girard; his brother Donald Meeder (Carole) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Ashley Meeder, Christian Meeder and Jeff Straw; and his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Fred (Rick), Kenneth Getz and Elizabeth Gill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
