He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. Waxham and Elizabeth Waxham (Loffi); and his wife Barbara Jean Waxham (Lucas). He is survived by: his children, Marvin E. Waxham Jr. (Jennifer) of Lake City, Elizabeth "Buffy" Jobczynski (Jeff) of Bluffton, S. C. and Anne Marie Sauer of Erie; his brothers, Owen O. Waxham of Lake City and Melvin N. Waxham (Jeannette) of Somerset, PA; his grandchildren, Remle A. Sauer and Lucas G. Sauer; and his close friend Lori Rice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake City Fire Company, 2232 Rice.
