He is survived by: his parents, Carrie Herman (Thompson) and Roger "Perry" Mitchell; his wife Elizabeth V. Mitchell (Huston); his son Abel Michael Perry Mitchell; his stepparents, Scot Herman and Kammy Mitchell; his grandparents, Leonard Thompson, JoAnn Lynn (Dennis) and Patricia Herman; and his siblings, Alyssa M. Mitchell, Allison R. Mitchell, Ashley P. Mitchell, Justin P. Mitchell, Jordan E. Mitchell, Jace R. Mitchell, Mark T. Herman, James A. Herman, Jason T. Herman and Geoffery A. Herman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
