With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Bateman (Lake City, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2019 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie L. Bateman and Martha Bateman (Kemling); and his siblings, Archie Bateman and Emma Lovin. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Orr (John) of Waterford, Cindy Gorton (Jason) of Springboro, Charles T. Bateman Jr. (Tammy) of Albion, Jody P. Bateman (Debi) of East Springfield and Doug K. Bateman (Chris) of West Springfield; his sisters, Laura Schultz of Girard, Nellie Lohr-Schanz (James) of Cranesville, Gladys Jones of Townville, Ella Harris (Glen), Dorothy Mundaniohl (Dan) of North East, Martha Buren of Meadville, Elizabeth Gates of Girard and Carole Silvaggi (Dan) of Millcreek; and his grandchildren, Caitlynn Orr, Matthew Orr, Emily Bateman and Austin Bateman.
