She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David F. Shaffer; her parents, Dr. Clarence Parks and Martha Shotwell Parks, RN; her children, Tiffany Shaffer (Kimberly Czaja) of Middletown, CT and Eroh Shaffer (Karen) of South Carolina; her brother Lewis Parks; her niece Carla of Glen Aubrey, NY; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Parks of Waymart, PA and Dr. Mead Shaffer; her brother George Parks; and her sister-in-law Joan Parks. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
