Robert E. Cordell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Cordell of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Cordell and Maxine Cordell Moritz (Keplanger); and his brother John Michael Cordell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Stout Cordell; his daughters, Jody M. Cordell-Mondak (Michael J. Mondak) of Lake Ariel and Carrie A. Cordell of Lake Ariel; his siblings, Elizabeth "Libby" Colston and James B. Cordell of York; his grandsons, Joshua R. Mondak and Michael E. Mondak; and his great grandchild Dominic J. Mondak. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Anyone attending the visitation/services are asked to wear a mask and adhere to state guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
