He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kreder and Helen Kreder; his daughter Suzanne Redzinski; and his siblings, Vera, Frank, Vince, Ernest, Teddy and John.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline (Sumski); his children, Karl Jr. (Gay), Tom (Ceil), Matthew, Valerie Young (Bob), Jeanne Yannuzzi (Tom) and Karen Perez (William); his grandchildren, Katie Eng of Karl Kreder, III, Amanda Aley, Michael Young, Lauren Yannuzzi, Candice Yannuzzi-Kirchuk, Tommy Kreder, Matthew Kreder, Carissa Olsen, Jaime Gubitosi, Heather Arroyo, Jessica Casciano and Nicholas Casciano; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Kai, Bennett, Davis, Corbin, Reese, Lorenzo, Lucian, Harlan, Nora, Silas, Laila, Brooke, Elena, Alexis and Dominic. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
