It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John George Martinkovitch Jr. (Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martinkovitch and Mary Zilla Martinkovitch of Throop, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hirsch; his sons, Joseph Martinkovitch (Emily) of Lake Ariel and Tim Martinkovitch of Lake Ariel; his grandchildren, Jenae, Gunnar and Ellie; and his sister Ann Ferguson of South Carolina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He and I would have some great times when my mother visited our relatives in Throop, Pa. I would like to express my sorrow at the sincere loss of a good friend and relative.
