We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2021, at the age of 91, Joan (Ulbrik) D. Marhevka (Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Ulbrik and Anna Wittenbrader Ulbrik; her siblings, David Ulbrik and Shirley Anne Ulbrik; and her grandson Craig Marhevka.
She is survived by: her husband Andrew T. Marhevka; her children, Thomas (Mary) of Colts Neck, NJ, Michael (Irene) of Lake Ariel, Robert (Robin) of Lake Ariel, Andrew Paul (Jill) of Lancaster and Kathryn McAndrew (Patrick) of Lake Ariel; her sister Barbara Merring (Kenneth) of Easton; and her sister-in-law Iolanda Ulbrik of Brazil. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, the family respectfully requests that anyone attending the viewing or funeral to wear a mask and refrain from any physical contact with the family.
