She is survived by: her husband Raymond L. Evans, Sr.; her children, Hazel Mitchell of Exeter, Jean Swingle (Ken) of Lake Ariel, Raymond Evans, Jr. of Gravity, David Evans of Newfoundland and Joseph Evans of Wimmers; her brothers, Charlie Jones of Gravity, Rev. Clifford Jones of Matamoras, Ernie Jones of Scranton, Paul Jones of Florida and Art Jones of Florida; her grandchildren, Jason Evans and Amy Jo Kane; and her sisters, Loretta Prussia and Myrtle Beckendorf. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 22 great – great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made in Jean's name to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart of the Sacred Heart 53 Glenmaura National Boulevard, Suite 120, Moosic, Pa 18507.
