He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Krizek and Evelyn Post Krizek; and his brothers, Richard and Spike Krizek. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Lianne Waller; his son James Krizek Jr.; his siblings, Jason Krizek, Hank Krizek, Chip Krizek, Ronnie Krizek, Judy, Dawn Krizek, Jody Filler and Jan Coogan; and his grandson Benjamin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
