We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024, at the age of 77, Eugene MacDonald Forbes of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Eugene MacDonald's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Eugene MacDonald has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Jarusik Forbes; his parents, Kenneth MacAlpin and Pauline Kurinec Forbes; his daughter Michelle Forbes; and his granddaughter Victoria Petrosky.
Gene and Carolyn were dedicated to each other and to their school classmates by having reunions each year for 20 years until Covid and now cancer discontinued that yearly celebration.
