It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Olver Racht of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, born in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldace Olver and Henrietta Olver; and her brothers, Vernon, Leon, Tom, Mike, Jerald, Arther and Paul Olver.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Racht of Waymart; her children, Carmen Fanning (Paul) of Spencer, Peter Racht of Lake Ariel, Martyn Racht (Peggy) of St. Helens, Oregon, Lisa Histed (Jim) of Lake Ariel and Mary Garnett (Daniel) of Waymart; her sister Florence Utegg of Lake Ariel; her sisters-in-law, Lucy Olver and Debbie Olver; and her grandchildren, Autumn, John, Joe, Ruth Fanning, Nicole, David Racht, Adam, Robert, James, Sally Histed, Danny, Desirae and Brandon Garnett.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Women Veterans ROCK, an organization whose mission is to help female veterans in the areas of housing, employment, education, financial security, stability and health & wellness.
