It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Elizabeth (Romanauskas) Weiss of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward A. Weiss; her parents, John Romanauskas and Anna Romanauskas; and her son Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Sowinski (Leonard) and Christine Reed (Ray); her sister Rita "Ruthie" Warner; her grandchildren, Michelle Mattern (Brian), Barbara Reed (Jason Gart), Richard Reed (Sara), Jennifer Weiss and Andrew Weiss (Kathryn Gorab); her great grandchildren, Ryan Mattern (Lala), Keith Mattern (Molly), Adam Mattern (Michelle Siracuse), Allison Mattern, Lindsey and Richie Reed; and her great great grandchildren, Eleanor "Nora" Grace and Isaac Mattern. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
All CDC guidelines will be strictly enforced, including the mandatory use of facial coverings and proper social distancing.
