She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Shaffer, and Elma June Hollister Shaffer, Jr.; and her brother Dennis Shaffer, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Wes (Rachel); and her siblings, David Shaffer (Pam) of Jefferson Twp, Donald Shaffer (Colleen) of Jefferson Twp, Dale Shaffer (Roni) of Maplewood, Doris Mellan of Scranton and Dorothy Sohns (Tom) of Scranton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
