With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dexter John Ashley of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, born in Old Town, Maine. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter L. Ashley and Dorothy Griffin Ashley. He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Hallsey-Scott (Mike) of Camden, SC, Mary Clater (Bill) of Easley, SC., Dwayne Geel (Betty) of Kingsport, TN and Dwight Geel of Brewer, ME; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Geel of Ellsworth, ME, Mitchell Bickford (Brenda) of Lee and Rusty Bickford (Joy) of Newport, ME. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in John's honor be made to the Dexter John Ashley Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Canaan Christian Academy, 30 Hemlock Road, Lake Ariel, PA 18436.
