We bid farewell to Clara A. McLain (Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Clara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. McLain; her parents, Thomas Malcolm and Rose Malcolm; her son Richard A McLain Jr.; her son-in-law Paul Mailen; and her brother Thomas Malcolm.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Mailen; her grandchildren, Richard A McLain III, Grant McLain and Ryne Mailen (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Sammy and Kennedy McLain; and her sister Rose Marie (Joseph Bruno). She is also survived by friend, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sterling Historical Society or the donor's choice of Animal Shelter.
