She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Smith and Florence Masker; her husband Harold Shafer; and her siblings, John (Jack), Orr Smith, Alberta Smith (Butch) and Hannah Andrukaitis (Ann).
She is survived by: her pets, Max and Stella; her brothers, Joseph Smith of Lake Ariel and George Smith (Bill) of Gouldsboro; her nieces and nephews, Christine Harty of Lake Ariel, Marjorie Smith of South Carolina, Juanita Smith of Wyoming, Eathen Shafer of Gouldsboro, Wyatt of Scranton, David of Scranton, Howard of Scranton, Orby of Scranton, Michael of Scranton and Harold Shafer of Scranton; her son Donald Ferry-Frame; and her granddaughter Alice Christine Nolan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
