He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Joy House of Wayne, NY, Jason Gardner (Trish) of Wilkes Barre, PA, James Gardner (Fran) of Cameron, NY, Monroe Gardner (Krystal) of Forest City, PA and Jessica Gardner of Carbondale, PA; his brother Daryle Gardner (Jean) of Millerton, PA; and his grandchildren, Jon, Kenny, Julia, Joel, Brenden, Savannah, Kiley, Delaney, Kamryn and Peytan. He is also survived by 1 great-grandson, Oakland; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
