He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. McDermott and Margaret McDermott; his brother Michael F. McDermott; and his sister-in-law Rosemarie P. McDermott. He is survived by: his brother Thomas M. McDermott (Marilyn); his niece Erin Kozich (Dave); his nephew Kelly McDermott; and his friend Tom Winarski. He is also survived by four grand-nieces; two grand-nephews.
